Regretfully the time has come for me to raise $$ (daughter going to private school), and so I am offering GS9-485 for sale. I bought it new in the barn in the 80's. I think you're spot-on, it seems to be a GS9 but with GS8 wiring (no tone switches). The neck does not have a v-contour, it is symmetrical; and the back of the body has slight countouring but nothing very deep.

I'm pretty sure yours is a Prime Time model. It is beautiful and I remember always sounded great through any amp. Those were fun times.
