Re: 1974 Time Acoustic from Steve Pastner

Hi PaExplorer,
So sorry to about Steve. He was a great artist and musician.
I'll be forever grateful that he thought to include his Time at the 'Renaissance' instrument makers exhibition he curated for the Fleming Museum.

Re: B.B King at Hunt's

Tracy, I can't tell you how much this is worth as the market is still deciding. But get out your wallet, this one has an interesting history and it's a GS-12 with special inlay by Alan Stack himself! [A nice variation of the Gibson Hearts & Flowers.] From the pictures. It's not in pristine condi...

Re: B.B King at Hunt's

JillD, If possible, can you give us some more history on this guitar? Where has it been? What changes were made and when? Previous owners? Anything is good. Thanks, Chris All, Here's a couple of more pictures of this Time guitar that BBKing played @Hunts one night. BBKing GS12 01.jpg The odd serial ...

Re: B.B King at Hunt's

Thanks for the pictures, JillD.
Here's a closeup of the headstock.
The distinctive inlay pattern and heartwood streak running through the ebony headstock veneer tell us everything.
This is the same guitar in the photo.

Re: New PT1-562

Mark,
Glad you're enjoying it!
BTW, The fingerboard is a really dark East Indian rosewood. Only the artist models had ebony/binding.

Re: Time Explorer

Hi tstarin, Welcome to the forum! Got any pics? I don't remember doing any Explorers with Floyd Roses. Floyd Roses didn't exist until after the Explorers. We did Explorers in the early 80's and yours may have been added later. I can tell from pics. We had 'style' to our work and when you know the it...

Re: New Baby (Green) PT-1 #563

You can find the serial number list here.
The June sale notes denote those guitars. I don't have your red PT-1 listed. The June sale was mostly older Times. TC, GS, & EX models.

Re: New PT1-56X

Armycopter, This is one of the last Times officially out of the barn. The pickup is likely a Duncan Distortion. When the Floyds were available, we would use them. They were the hot item. That color was too. I remember building that guitar in a group of at least six. There was another group of Prime ...

Re: New PT1-56X

That's one sweet Prime Time, Armycopter! I don't see any wear on the frets and the finish looks great. Not a 26 year old guitar at all. I'm guessing it was built in 1986 with a maple body and a dark Indian Rosewood board. That's the Magenta candy finish. I think it really represents the perio...

Recent Site problems. Sept. 2012

Hi All, Sorry for the recent outage. The site was moved to a new provider a few weeks ago. During this transfer the current database was lost. Recent backups of this database were corrupt. I have found an old database to restore. I have installed that database today. This database is dated 30Jan2010...

Re: Serial Numbers compiled Sept 2009

Well I'm thinking this forum is already a plain old SQL database running on with a php front-end. I looked quickly through the available mods yesterday at phpBB . [That's what this forum runs on.] and found nothing for adding a registry function. I don't see how posting to and viewing a serial numbe...
