Re: Serial Numbers compiled Sept 2009

That's a great idea.
Do you know of any good php open source 'registry' apps? Anyone? Got Time?
Or is anyone interested in starting/working on a Time Guitar WIKI entry?

Chris
P.S. I use that site all the time. Otherwise, I would lose track of all my Ferrari! :)

Serial Numbers compiled Sept 2009

I posted this list on the FaceBook Time Guitar Fan Club , but it should be on this forum as well. Here is a sales list found in my basement. This was marked as a 'June' Sale. I figure this was an inventory from 1986. I have added what we already know for serial numbers as of Sept 2009. Chris Here's ...

Re: I Want a Time PT!

I don't think anyone's pissed off. There isn't a 'ton' of Prime Times out there. This site has only documented a few so far. If memory serves me right, I don't think there is more than a couple dozen Prime Times total. Be careful thou, Floyd Rose tremolos seem to be a gateway to cocaine addiction. T...

Re: I Want a Time PT!

Welcome to the forum! Yes these guitars are rare, but they do show up on eBay & Craigslist and in local stores. You just have to keep searching and have cash ready to go! Here's a great, recent PT-1 from Craigslist. DaisyBat's PT-1 from CraigsList I would like to see his. I believe it might have...

Re: Time in Burlington Records?

It wouldn't take much to bring this back. I remember the person was asking around $900 in April. I did talk that price down. Considering other Kasters sold recently. a fair price is between $550-$700 for this guitar. The reason I mentioned the EMG pickups is related to the two height adjustment scre...

Re: EX9/12/Artist relisted on eBay

The owner has contacted me and we are working more of this guitar's history.
The guitar is signed by myself. XS12 #167 from March 1983.
I'll see what we can do for pictures.

EX9/12/Artist relisted on eBay

Explorer on ebay This time with new photos. No mention of issues seen on the last listing photos. No serial number. And no, still no connection or influence from the Grateful Death. Just so you know, Paul Languedoc didn't time travel. He may have, but I never noticed... Here's the thread on the 1st...

Re: Wiring Schematic Help

I would not dream of messing with my GS8. I am tinkering around with guitar wiring and have a guitar I am building. Since I can't buy a GS9, I thought I'd try to recreate some of the sounds. I didn't realize that there were neck and body differences between the 8 and 9. Thanks for adding to my buye...

Re: Wiring Schematic Help

Yeah, the GS8 is different than a 9. Not just the wiring. The pickguard is larger to accommodate the extra switches. The pickguard has a longer lower 'horn' and a point behind the bridge to balance the design aesthetic. The body has a different, larger routing under the pickguard to accommodate the ...

Re: Wiring Schematic Help

Welcome aboard. StuB I have written about how the switching works on this post. You are correct in that the GS 9 & 12 have the same wiring setup. If you need help on posting pictures, just send me a PM/email and I'll help you out. We're all about pictures here! At some point, I need to post a sc...

Stolen GS12 EBAY. 29OCT09 Serial # 127

Here's the serial number from Vintage City Guitars. They waited until after the auction to answer my question about the serial number. Guess that makes it all OK!

Hello,

I believe the SN is 127.

Thanks!

Re: STOLEN GS12 EBAY. 29OCT09

Sorry to report. This guitar was stolen from forum member gbsguitar in July. Unfortunately, the seller refused to stop the auction and said since gbsguitar didn't have a serial number, there was nothing they could do. This was obviously the same guitar as the black walnut matched exactly. I'm not su...

GS12 EBAY. 29OCT09

Black Walnut GS-12 on Ebay. Looks pretty nice Folks!
Chris

P.S. auction says GS-9. It's a 12 with all the candy. 1982 sounds about right. It's an early Barn GS.
