I bought one of these Explorers about 24 years ago. Mine is a two pick up and it had a Floyd on it. it is in rough shape now, a small amount of pink pain is left near the headstock. The joint on the body where the mounted post for the Floyd broke. I wanted to find out more about this guitar...When it was made, possible value.

I don't remember doing any Explorers with Floyd Roses. Floyd Roses didn't exist until after the Explorers. We did Explorers in the early 80's and yours may have been added later. I can tell from pics. We had 'style' to our work and when you know the it, it's pretty easy to distinguish.
