Nice!

It's a DayGlo explosion!

It's interesting to note that it's marked as a GS9. Notice the GS9 pickguard [bigger area below the master volume.] but with GS8 wiring. No tone switching. It's got the later Schaller one piece bridge with the brass saddles. These bridges started to appear in 84/85.
It looks like it was intended to be a GS9 and then we wired it as a GS8 to sell it.

Does it have other GS9 features? The GS2-8 guitars wouldn't have these construction 'options'.
- V contour on the back of the neck.
- Craved Body contour on the back?

Love the paint, right off the stage at the Whiskey A Go Go circa 1985.

Thanks for the post.
Chris

Chris,

I think you're spot-on, it seems to be a GS9 but with GS8 wiring (no tone switches). The neck does not have a v-contour, it is symmetrical; and the back of the body has slight countouring but nothing very deep.

Thanks for your kind words.

Best,

Craig
