Time Guitars

This is my GS12 that originally had a pearl finish. The original finish had been chipped and dinged from many years on the road, so I decided to combine the look of my two favorite guitars. This required filling in the routed top, routing the back for accessibility to the electronics, taking the removing the top finish along with 1/32" inside the binding, cutting, piecing and fitting together the Mother Of Pearl and Abalone pieces. Adam Charette from Tiverton, RI did this for me three years ago and his work is absolutely amazing. He said "It's like putting together a puzzle without the picture on the box." It took him about 8 months to complete. Don't ask him, he will never do this again!
