This makes note of the 'NEW' artist option. Until then every 'Artist' was called a ##-12 [i.e. GS-12] The #12 models always had the #9 full switching, plus to extra goodies. By creating an Artist option, someone could get a single pickup Guitar with all the goodies.

The #12 and 'Artist' goodies were:

Primo book-matched maple neck with center Black Walnut stripe.

Special triangular neck.

Ebony board with Diamond inlay.

Ebony peghead overlay with handcut pearl Time logo.

Complete binding on the neck, headstock, and body

Choice of stripe, checkerboard, or 'Flight-Strip' binding on the headstock & body.

Of course, their where many custom ordered guitars that went way beyond the 12's and Artist offerings.
Hopefully someone will post pictures of their 'Holy Shit!' Time guitar, we know they're out there!
