Find old Pictures

Hey Chris! Great idea. I wish I had my 2 that you built for me. The Explorer I gave to Kirk and he pawned it down in NYC when he worked in Fishkill, NY. The custom Flying V I sold many moons ago at Advance Music so I could buy a digital reverb for my recording studio. What an idiot I was! I start looking for pictures of the 2 I had. I know I had them hanging in the "guitar room" at Northern Lites and Sound Studios.

Also if I remember right my Flying V was the first one started at Time, but Andre Maquera's came out first because he needed his "all white" one for the photo shoot for the first 8084 album!

My explorer was the prototype you built and sold to me real cheap. The final production models had a few changes which made mine a one of a kind!

Tracy,
I think the 1st Explorer may have been 'Cosmic Joe' Caron's. [Run 21 w/ Jimmy Carter]It was Black with Flight-Strip', had Active electronics and a Bigsby tremolo. Joe used to spin it around his head. One night, during a solo, it launched out into the middle of the dance floor snapping the peghead off! We repaired it and soon after started including strap-locks [with extra long screws in the body] on all the guitars.

Your EX had the one piece flat strat style neck. Very rare.
Is there a 8084 album cover with a Time? Are there other albums with Times?
